WATCH: Chinese Basketball Players Get Into Massive Brawl With Fans After Game

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One Chinese basketball team had its own version of "Malice at the Palace."

Following a loss Wednesday to the Sichuan Blue Whales in Game 3 of the Chinese Basketball Association Finals, players for the Liaoning Leopards got into a massive fight with fans outside their hotel.

The brawl, which was caught on video, shows players and fans throwing punches at one another and getting thrown to the ground. One player is even seen kicking a fan.

"There was no security staff to maintain order when our players got off the bus," Liaoning manager Yan Xiaoming said, according to the Shanghai Daily.

He continued, "After the conflict started, some Sichuan fans attacked the fathers of two of our players, Guo Ailun and He Tianju. The players hit back when they saw their fathers being assaulted.

Three players were hurt in the brawl.

"The three players have already gone back for treatment. I don't know how the series will continue," Yan said.

Sichuan holds a two games to one lead over Liaoning in the finals.
