Keith Olbermann Selling His Multi-Million Dollar Trump Condo

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Liberal commentator Keith Olbermann has listed a $3.9 million condo for sale after announcing his plans to move out due to his sentiments toward the building's developer, no other than Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Olbermann previously announced his plans to move out of Trump Palace apartment in New York City last month and has now put the 1,750-square-foot condo on the market, according to The Wall Street Journal.

He said he bought it in 2007 for $4.2 million.

"I feel 20 pounds lighter since I left," Olbermann said after moving out of the apartment in March.

Trump said the former MSNBC political commentator is "just trying to use 'Trump' to get publicity and stay relevant." Trump also said prices of his apartments are the highest they've been and that "prices will probably go up" when people find out Olbermann is leaving.

Town Residential, a New York real estate agency, told The Journal the apartment is on the 40th floor of Trump Palace with views of the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the George Washington Bridge.

Olbermann said the space is a great apartment, but that leaving the building makes him feel "less morally icky."

"If they had changed the name of it to something more positive like Ebola Palace I would have happily stayed," he said.

Olbermann said he has found a new apartment, but declined to offer details on the location.
