Mike Francesa: Yankees Look 'Ordinary' So Far
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Two and a half weeks into the season, the Yankees don't look like anything special, WFAN's Mike Francesa said.
The Bronx Bombers lost to the Oakland Athletics' 5-2 on Wednesday night, their sixth defeat in the last seven games. The Yankees are 5-8 entering Thursday's game.
"Last night's game just showed that this team continues to look like, at best, ordinary group," Francesa said on his WFAN show. "I mean, they do have a wonderful bullpen. They have an overwhelming bullpen that still is missing a key component. ... But the rest of the team is rather ordinary, and the offense has been anything, anything but extraordinary. In fact, it has been as underwhelming as it could possibly be, and it was again last night."
