3 To See At ACC: Meet Cassidy, Oscar and Wolverine!

New York (CBSNewYork) CBSNewYork.com and 1010 WINS have teamed up with Animal Care Centers of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable animals looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where ACC's mobile adoption units are headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Cassidy, Oscar and Wolverine!

Cassidy (A1029464 - photo above/video below) This handsome tuxedo kitty is also friendly and playful! Cassidy appreciates petting and really enjoys a good toy mouse. Meet Cassidy, who's approximately four years old, at ACC's Manhattan Care Center, 326 E. 110th Street.

Oscar (A1068504): Oscar, a volunteer writes, is "a real sweetheart. This guy is a little on the timid side, but he warms up and gets attached very quickly. He loves to bury his face into a corner of his cage or side of his litter box while you rub his head and cheeks. He is very smart, too -- he senses right away if you become distracted and uses subtle wiles to get your attention back….This sweet, well-mannered bunny would probably make a good partner for another rabbit." Meet this approximately 10-month-old cutie at ACC's Manhattan Care Center, 326 E. 110th Street.

Wolverine (A1067889) Though his name may sound fierce, Wolverine is as sweet as can be! This midsized fella is one handsome man with his glowing caramel color and eyes to match. About two years old, he knows his manners, walking nicely on leash and using the bathroom outside. He is soft and bouncy with the female dogs he has met here, playing outside with them in the spring air.  If you need a super hero in your life, come meet Wolverine at ACC's Brooklyn Care Center, 2336 Linden Boulevard.

Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the only open-admissions animal shelter in New York City and takes in approximately 30,000 animals every year.
