Boomer & Carton: Harvey ... Bad, Yanks ... Really Bad, Islanders ... Gag

It certainly wasn't a great Tuesday night for the sports locals, but, lucky for all of you, the Dynamic Radio Duo that is Boomer & Carton were up and at 'em early Wednesday morning.

The guys broke down the little good, the very bad and the downright ugly from losses by the Mets and Yankees, plus the Islanders' brutal Game 3 defeat to the Lightning.

Matt Harvey wasn't great again and the Mets managed just one hit in a 3-0 loss to lowly Atlanta.

The Yankees, on the other hand, are used to struggling offensively, as they went down with a whimper in a 4-1 loss to Baltimore, New York's sixth defeat in a row, overall. What's worse, Alex Rodriguez left the game with a right hamstring injury.

Then there were the Islanders, who blew a pair of one-goal, third-period leads in an eventual 5-4 overtime loss to Tampa. They now trail their second-round series 2-1, with Game 4 set for Friday night in Brooklyn.

There was a lot to talk about and the guys were in the perfect forum to do so. We love it when a plan comes together.
