Hillary Clinton Coming To New Jersey To Campaign

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is coming to New Jersey ahead of next month's primary.

Clinton will appear Wednesday at a campaign event at Camden County College in Blackwood.

Her visit comes a day after rival Sen. Bernie Sanders' win Tuesday in the West Virginia primary. Sanders campaigned this week in Atlantic City, assailing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The Vermont senator said he has no plans to exit the race, even though Clinton is just 144 delegates short of the 2,383 required to capture the nomination.

CBS News estimates Clinton will likely reach the number needed to clinch the nomination in early June, unless Sanders manages to pull off a stunning upset.

There are 142 delegates at stake in the Garden State.

New Jersey Democrats go to the polls on June 7.
