Boomer & Carton: Yanks, Mets Stick To The Script, Thunder Send Spurs Home And Everybody Loves Gronk

Don't look now, but the once-struggling Yankees have won five of their last seven games.

The Bombers took three out of four from the defending World Series champion Royals with Thursday's 7-3 victory, and will next face the red-hot White Sox, starting Friday night in the Bronx.

The Mets were up against it Thursday night in Los Angeles, and by "it" we mean Clayton Kershaw, who pitched his Dodgers to a 5-0 win. And to Craig's dismay, Chase Utley not only went 3-for-4 with a home run, he also finished the game unscathed.

The Thunder beat the Spurs convincingly, sending the 67-win team home unhappy and moving into the Western Conference finals against the Warriors.

Finally, Rob Gronkowski will go from the cover of GQ to the cover of "Madden NFL 17" and according to Craig, everybody, even Jets fans, love the Gronk.

You know the drill folks, it's a Friday. Now start actin' like it.
