Staten Island Man Faces Charges In Alleged Lower East Side Rape Attempt
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have made an arrest in an attempted rape on the Lower East Side.
Investigators said on April 23, Gabriel Bulina followed the woman inside her apartment building elevator near Stanton and Pitt streets.
The 18-year-old from Staten Island allegedly groped the woman as the door opened.
Police said he followed her to her apartment, but ran once a man from inside came to the door.
