11 Fast Facts On Donald Trump's Supreme Court Picks

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump released a list of 11 potential Supreme Court justices he plans to vet to fill the seat of late Justice Antonin Scalia on Thursday.

But who are they? Here's what you need to know about Trump's 11 potential Supreme Court picks.

Allison Eid: Allison Eid was appointed to her current role as associate justice of the Colorado Supreme Court in 2006. The Washington state native received her law degree from Chicago Law School and taught law at the University of Colorado.

Steven Colloton: Steven Colloton is a federal judge serving on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. The Iowa native studied at Princeton University before receiving his law degree from Yale in 1988. Colloton was elected to his current post by former President George W. Bush i 1993.

Thomas Hardiman: Thomas Hardiman was appointed judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 2007 and has served ever since. The University of Notre Dame graduate hails from Pennsylvania.

Raymond Gruender: The Missouri native currently serves as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Joan Larsen: Joan Larsen, of Michigan, worked as a clerk for late Justice Antonin Scalia early on in her career. She was appointed as an associate justice of the Michigan Supreme Court in 2015.

Raymond Kethledge: Also of Michigan, Raymond Kethledge works as a judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He studied law at Michigan University.

William Pryor: William Pryor works a judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. The former Alabama attorney general graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University School of Law in 1987.

Thomas Lee: Thomas Lee is an associate justice on the Supreme Court of Utah. He also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University Law School.

Don Willett: Don Willett is currently a justice on the Texas Supreme Court and previously worked as an adviser to former president George W. Bush.

Diane Sykes: The Wisconsin resident and Marquette Law School graduate current serves as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

David Stras: David Stras currently serves as an associate justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court. He was appointed in 2010.
