NEW YORK (WFAN) — On Nov. 23, 2010, Terry Collins was introduced as the 20th manager in the history of the Mets, a franchise that was in the midst of an overhaul after missing out on the playoffs for the fourth straight season.
Collins chatted with Mike Francesa after his introductory news conference.
“This is a huge experience,” Collins said. “These jobs are very few and very hard to get, and it’s certainly an honor to be here on the biggest stage.”
