NYPD: 62-Year-Old Woman Killed In Bronx Hit-And-Run
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is investigating a second deadly hit-and-run in the Bronx early Sunday morning.
Police said a 62-year-old woman was trying to cross White Plains Road in Olinville when she was struck by an SUV around 1:30 a.m.
The driver fled the scene.
The woman died on the scene.
This is the second fatal hit-and-run in the Bronx in as many days.
Giovanni Nin, 26, of the Bronx, was struck and killed by a silver BMW X5 SUV as he was attempting to cross East Tremont Avenue near Mayflower Avenue at around 12:40 a.m. Saturday.
No arrests have been made in either case.
