Boomer & Carton: Monday Morning Baseball Blues

After a horrendous weekend for the baseball locals, Boomer and Craig got things rolling Monday morning talking about the Mets and the Yankees.

The teams will begin the first leg of this year's Subway Series on Monday at Citi Field, just hours after the MLB trade deadline.

What remains to be seen is whether either team will make a move or two. The Mets (54-50) still fancy themselves a playoff contender, while the .500 Bombers (52-52) pretty much waved the white flag on the season after trading All-Star reliever Andrew Miller on Sunday before getting swept by the lowly Rays in Tampa.
