NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Five deliverymen have been attacked and robbed in Brooklyn since late last month.

In the first incident, a 17-year-old deliveryman was attacked on Saint Marks Avenue on July 26. Police said two suspects sprayed him in the face with a chemical and ran off with a bag of food containing two chicken sandwiches, two cheeseburgers, three slices of pizza, two cans of soda, and ice cream and a banana pudding . The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for eye discomfort.

On July 31, police said someone pushed a 22-year-old food deliveryman off of his motorized bike on the corner of New York Avenue and Pacific Street. The suspect took off with the bike, which was valued at $1,450.

The next day, four people pushed a pizza deliveryman to the ground on Dean Street and stole his Samsung Note 3 and $300, according to the NYPD.

Last Friday, a man put a 27-year-old delivery person in a headlock while an accomplice took the victim's iPhone 6 and wallet containing $150, credit cards and personal documents.

On Saturday, another pizza deliveryman was attacked on Dean Street. In that incident, police said two suspects grabbed the victim by his neck and then took off with seven boxes of pizza and the victim's wallet, which contained $160, ID and credit cards.
