Man Found After Police Believe He Was Shot, Abducted In Inwood

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Nassau County Police said a man was found after they believe he was the victim of a frightening abduction.

Just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, investigators believe 25-year-old Aurelio Maldonado was shot near Mott and Lawrence Avenues in Inwood.

Police believe someone put the 5-foot-5, 180-pound man in a trunk and abducted him.

Nassau County Police said Maldonado has been found in an undisclosed location and is in good health.
