The Google account manager was found dead Aug. 7 in the woods near her mother's Princeton home. Investigators have received hundreds of tips but have not announced an arrest.

She is survived by her parents, John Marcotte and Rossana Marcotte.

According to her obituary, Marcotte was "kind, compassionate, bright, curious, charming, and vivacious'' and "was blessed with beauty, grace, a generous spirit, and a loving heart.''

Her family is asking contributions made in Marcotte's memory to Harlem Grown of New York City, Tutoring Plus of Cambridge, Inc., or to the Matt Light Foundation for Crohn's Disease.

Marcotte's murder happened just five days after 30-year-old Karina Vetrano was killed after going out for a jog in Howard Beach, Queens. Police said Vetrano was found strangled and possibly sexually assaulted on Aug. 2 in the Spring Creek federal park land near the Belt Parkway. More than $200,000 has been raised for a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
