After enjoying an extended weekend, Jerry Recco wasted no time getting his update game back on track Tuesday morning.

The "maven" had the latest on the Yankees and the Mets, teams that seem to be heading in opposite directions.

The youthful Bombers continued their strong recent play with a 1-0 win over the heavy-hitting Blue Jays on Monday, thanks to Chad Green's right arm and Aaron Judge's bat.

The Mets, on the other hand, were done-in by poor pitching and defense in a 10-6 loss out in Arizona to kick off a pivotal 10-game road trip.
