9/11 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre

Happy Sunday folks! After a steamy and stormy start for some, we’ll have much nicer conditions this afternoon and evening. A cold front will clear the skies out and bring drier, breezy conditions. Our forecast high of 85 won’t feel too bad, and it’ll be a great afternoon to go see the Jets at MetLife Stadium.

It’ll be a breezy and cool night with a low of 63 in NYC…but 50s in the ‘burbs…and some far north/west spots could dip into the 40s! Definitely a far cry from the sizzling summer feel the past few days.

Tomorrow’s gonna be a gem with blue skies, light breezes, no humidity, and a high in the upper 70s. Enjoy!
