In a game that was hailed to be gold for fantasy football players, two of the NFL’s most explosive teams were stuck without scores for the better part of the first half. That all changed when the Giants’ offseason acquisition, Janoris Jenkins, recovered a blocked field goal 65 yards for a touchdown.
The scoop and score was the Giants’ first touchdown off a blocked punt since December 2008. The touchdown was the cornerback’s seventh career score.
