13 Displaced, Two Homes Damaged In Jersey City Fire

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Authorities say a fast-moving fire has damaged two homes in Jersey City and displaced 13 residents.

But it's not yet clear what sparked the fire, which was reported around 9:10 a.m. Sunday.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which broke out in an area between the homes at 19 and 21 Bleecker Street. It took about 25 minutes for firefighters to contain the blaze.

Eight adults and five children who lived in the two homes were displaced by the fire. They are being relocated by the American Red Cross.
