LISTEN: Eli Manning Discusses Loss To Vikings On WFAN

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- A day after the Giants lost to the Vikings 24-10 on "Monday Night Football," quarterback Eli Manning broke down the defeat on WFAN.

"They're a good team," Manning said during his weekly appearance on Mike Francesa's show. "They're well-coached. Good scheme. They had a good scheme for us. We moved the ball decently the first couple of drives. We just either had a penalty or had something kind of back us up, and they're a team that you've just got to stay in good down and distance. If you get in second-and-longs and third-and-longs, it's going to be a tough day."

The Giants are now 2-2 a quarter of the way through the season. Manning said he's still optimistic about the team's chances.

"Obviously I would like to have more wins, but I feel good about this squad," he said. "I feel like the defense is playing better, and the offense, you kind of see the potential. We've just got to put everything together."
