Nearly 200 Pumpkins Stolen From New Jersey Farm

WAYNE, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Four thieves have stolen nearly 200 pumpkins from a family-run farm in New Jersey.

Todd Kuehm, owner of Farms View Roadstand in Wayne, said surveillance cameras captured the pumpkin theft overnight on Tuesday.

The footage shows four people carrying the pumpkins to a van. Kuehm said the van can be seen pulling up to the farm stand three different times to steal the pumpkins.

Kuehm estimates the crop was worth more than $2,000.

The family is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Police are investigating.

The farm stand has been in business for more than 120 years.
