Trick-Or-Treaters Welcome At New Jersey Cemetery

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- For 35 years, Guy Kostka has been the superintendent of the Valleau Cemetery and his house sits right in the middle of the 32-acre graveyard in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Kostka and his wife always prepare for kids by the dozens, but on average get two or three brave souls every Halloween night.

"What's the most you've ever had on Halloween in terms of people coming to your door?" 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck asked.

"One time I can remember, four or five of my daughter's friends," Kostka said.

He's letting trick-or-treaters know, there's nothing to be afraid of.

Kostka said he has some Snickers and Twix on hand, but now that the word is out he may need to run out to the store and stock up on some more.

"I'll get some more candy today, we have a bowlful but that might not be enough," Kostka said.
