Staten Island Pit Bull Avoids Being Euthanized, Must Take Anger Management Class
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Staten Island pit bull that has been blamed for the deaths of three other animals will not have to be euthanized after a legal battle ended with its owners agreeing to enroll the dog in an anger management class.
The 7-year-old pit bull named Caesar was accused of killing two dogs and a cat, and was set to be euthanized, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported.
It's owners filed a lawsuit to stop the city from killing their dog.
Now under an agreement, Caesar will be given back to the couple, but first he must pass a doggie anger management class.
The classes last for one month and then the owners must muzzle the dog whenever he is outside.
