Man's Nose Broken During Violent Subway Robbery In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for three suspects after two people were beaten in a robbery onboard a subway train in Queens last week.

According to police, a 25-year-old and 27-year-old man were attacked as they were traveling on a northbound E train pulling into the Jamaica Center station at around 3 a.m. on Nov. 25. The suspects then took the victims' iPhones before exiting the train.

The 25-year-old man sustained a broken eye socket bone and a broken nose, and other contusions, police said. The 27-year-old received a cut to the lip and other swelling.

Both victims were treated at a nearby hospital.

The NYPD describes the suspects as three men, all between 19 to 22 years old. Surveillance images of two of the suspects can be viewed above.
