Police Hunt For Up To 10 Suspects In Bronx Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for up to 10 people in connection with two violent robberies in the Bronx last month.

In the first incident, a 35-year-old man was attacked on East 153rd Street and Walton Avenue at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 26. Police said he was knocked to the ground, beaten, and robbed of his phone and about $100 in cash.

Hours later, the suspects attacked two men, ages 21 and 24, on Inwood Avenue. Police said when the older victim tried to take off in his car, they pulled him out of the vehicle, beat him and slashed him in the face with a sharp object.

The other victim was beaten and stabbed in the arm and leg. Police said the suspects took off with his phone, gold chain and sneakers.

Both men were taken to Lincoln Hospital in serious but stable condition.
