Men Wanted In Connection To Pair Of Bayside Burglaries

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York City Police Department is looking for a pair of men in connection with two burglaries at the same home in the Bayside section of Queens.

The first incident took place the afternoon of Nov. 6 at a home near the corner of 210th Street and 26th Avenue.

Police believe an individual or individuals forced their way into the rear of the residence and proceeded to steal a Louis Vuitton wallet and purse valued at $4,200, three Swarovski bracelets of undetermined value, a Tory Birch purse valued at $250, $1,240 in cash and a credit card. A 49-year-old female resident of the home reported the crime after she discovered that her property had been stolen.

The second incident occurred the morning of Nov 11 at the same residence.

According to police, a man approached the front door of the home and rang the doorbell.

The doorbell, which was installed after the first break-in, had a home security feature that recorded video and sent a text alert to a 24-year-old female resident of the home who proceeded to call 911.

The man, accompanied by another man, gained entry into the home through an unlocked side window but fled the premises before police arrived.

Nothing was taken in the second incident, according to police.

Police have named 49-year-old Julian Zorilla as a person of interest with the second incident. He's wanted for questioning regarding the first.

An unidentified male is sought in connection to the second incident, according to police.
