Man Struck By L Train While Standing On Platform In East Village
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 55-year-old man was struck by the L train at the 14th Street-Union Square station in Manhattan.
Police said the man was standing on the subway platform around 9 p.m. Sunday when he was hit and knocked back.
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was treated for a cut on his head.
L train service was temporarily disrupted, but has resumed with delays.
