NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The New York Mets will bid farewell to outfielder Curtis Granderson.

The team announced late Friday, that he had been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for a player to be named later, or cash considerations.

Granderson was hitting .228 with 19 homers and 52 RBI this season.
