Man Shot In Head, Killed In Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 49-year-old man was shot in the head and killed in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn late Sunday.
Police said the man was found at 50 Herkimer Pl. with a gunshot to the head at 8:48 p.m.
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests had been made in the incident late Sunday night.
In a separate incident later Sunday night, police were called at 11:16 p.m. for a shooting at St. John's Place and Schenectady Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
In that incident, at least one man was shot in the chest and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.
