1 Dead In Early Morning Jersey City Stabbing
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- An early morning argument turned deadly inside an apartment building Wednesday in Jersey City.
Police were called to the building on Duncan Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Police say a husband stabbed his wife to death as the victim's 15-year-old son was trying to pull his mom away, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported.
Neighbor Karen Sullivan said building residents were told to stay inside their apartments.
"I just feel bad for the boy. He must be -- traumatic for him. I can't even imagine," she said. "Really sad."
One resident said there was a lot of blood on the apartment door and in the hallway, Jones reported.
The teen was treated and released at the hospital while police took the husband into custody.
