2 Dead In Early Morning Fire In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two people have died following an early morning fire in Brooklyn.

The call came in shortly before 3:30 a.m. Friday on Patchen Avenue.

Police said a man was found on the third floor and pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was found on the second floor and was taken to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
