Is the name resemblance between Chris Pine
(the new Kirk) and Christopher Pike (the captain before Kirk) purely coincidence? I mean it’s only 1 letter different! Was this meant to be an inside joke for trekkies?

I saw Bill Shatner back in 1971 at the PaperMill Playhouse in Milburn, NJ – he was in a play, “Period of Adjustment.” After the play, I got his autograph. I went to see him again when he played in Paramus and got his autograph again. I loved him then, and I love him now as “Denny Craine” in Boston Legal.

I met Leonord Nimoy on Long Island in person years ago. This was after the TV series but before the first movie was released. He is a hell of a nice guy.

Live long and prosper Mr. Nimoy.

Leonard Nimoy reminds me more and more of how my dad looked, creepy!
