Art is always in the eyes of the beholder and so determines it’s value . The morons critical of works by Warhol are just artistically ignorant and have no understanding of art.

As a former art major, my opinion is that these were not MAJOR works of art in fact, they were prints, which means they are mulitples, not one-of-a-kind work. Bottom line: no big loss to the art world. I agree with jojo above – inside job.
