On the morning following Hurricane Irene, we looked out of our window to see that our 125 year old oak tree had fallen across our property and the people next door’s.. Before long many neighbors came to see the unbelievable destruction. Many trucks arrived to appraise the situation. The electrical lines were down and most houses had lost
their power. As the day went on Channel 2 reporter Maurice DuBois and his crew arrived and interviewed my husband and myself. They took pictures, and we were told that we would be sent a tape of our interview. We were happy to hear from family members that we were on the 5 O’Clock Channel 2 news, and we look forward to seeing this once in a lifetime happening with Mr. DuBois. Many thanks.
