Always Be Looking For High Performers At Thin Fantasy Positions

Catcher and the three infield positions are often the most difficult to find good players on your fantasy teams, because the talent pool is so shallow. If you don’t grab a stud at those positions early in your draft, you may get stuck with a revolving door of middling players all season long.

Intentional Walks Backfire On Joe Girardi, Yankees

Yankees manager Joe Girardi likes to play by the numbers. It burned him Monday night. Girardi chose to issue two intentional walks to get to the bottom of the Blue Jays’ lineup in the sixth, but No. 8 hitter J.P. Arencibia capped a five-run inning with a three-run double that helped Toronto beat New York 7-3.
