HOPE Week — which stands for “Helping Others Persevere and Excel” honors five people each year for making a difference in their communities by surprising them with a day celebrating their accomplishments.

10-Year-Old Honored By Yankees During HOPE Week

Autumn Blinn, 10, of Rome, N.Y. got the surprise of her life when a bunch of Bronx Bombers turned out to honor her. So far, Blinn said she’s made more than 300 pillows for her “Pillows Of Love” project.
