Mets Officially Agree To Terms With First-Round Selection Gavin Cecchini

The Mets have agreed to terms with first-round pick Gavin Cecchini, the club confirmed on Friday. The 12th overall pick of the 2012 amateur draft — a shortstop straight out of high school — signed with New York for $2.3 million, according to CBSSports.com’s Jon Heyman.
