N.J. Doctor Pleads Guilty To Accepting Bribes From Lab, Faces Up To 5 Years In Prison

Prosecutors say Dr. Wayne Lajewski, 51, admitted to accepting bribes of $2,000 cash per month over a two year period in exchange for referring patient blood specimens to the Parsippany-based Biodiagnostic Laboratory Services LLC.

Prosecutors Announce Charges In Alleged New Jersey Lab Kickback Scheme

Federal agents arrested Parsippany-based Biodiagnostic Laboratory Services president and part-owner David Nicoll, a New Jersey physician and two other BLS employees on bribery charges Tuesday morning, prosecutors announced.
