Police: Queens Man Charged With Impersonating Cop To Scam Jewelry StoresAccording to police, Brian Harrington told the clerks at Rafael's in Hewlett and Gulgattie Jewelry at the Tri Count Flea Market in Levittown that he was a police officer who lost his debit card, so the clerks let him write out checks totaling more than $5,200.
