The family of a man who was fatally stabbed at a Queens barbershop last week has said they have forgiven the man accused of killing him.
A Queens barber charged with stabbing a teenager to death with a pair of shears said he feared being attacked, according to court documents.
Barber shop co-owner Cedric Simpson, 34, was arrested on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon for the fatal stabbing of Carl Richardson with scissors.
Police responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed inside the barbershop located at 227-14 Merrick Blvd. just before 2 p.m. Thursday.
