Members of the Army National Guard lined a street in Corona Friday as the casket of a fellow guardsman, who was shot and killed by an NYPD detective on the Grand Central Parkway, was carried into the Eternal Love Baptist Church.

Mother Of Man Killed On GCP Meets With Queens DA

The mother of an unarmed man who was shot and killed by a detective during a traffic stop on the Grand Central Parkway said she wants “justice” for her son.

Detective Who Shot Unarmed Man On GCP Previously Accused Of Misconduct

Hassan Hamdy was one of 16 cops in a 1999 excessive force case, which was settled for almost $300,000. Hamdy is also one of six cops who was sued in 2007 by Dorothy Garcia and her grandson Tyrell.
