The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge is turning 50 later this year, but one City Councilman said Brooklyn isn’t getting its fair share of the spotlight in the November celebration.
Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and City Councilman Vincent Gentile said they plan to introduce a resolution in the New York City Council that will call for a fair system of fares on both sides of New York City’s bridges.
