It’s been three months since Sunday alcohol sales became legal in Connecticut and stores are reporting in.
Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy and others say every year hundreds of millions of dollars crosses the border to liquor stores out of state.
“I’m certainly hoping that it will be successful. It will allow the state to recover hundreds of millions of dollars in sales that we’re currently losing; obviously having a good impact on employment,” Gov. Malloy said.
