An investigation has determined that no criminal charges are warranted in the death of 16-year-old Corey Foster who was restrained at a school for troubled children.
Corey Foster died after he was physically restrained by staff at Leake & Watts residential treatment center in Yonkers after apparently becoming agitated on a basketball court on April18.
“I’m torn between disbelief, disgust, anger,” Andre Foster said at a news conference in Queens on Monday. “I’m just looking for some kind of justice.”
Corey Foster died last week at the Leake & Watts facility shortly after he was restrained by members of the staff.
