Sixteen years after a murder that stunned Suffolk County, Thursday was sentencing day for the convicted killer. The victim was a 17-year-old homecoming queen. Prosecutors said she was stabbed dozens of times in a jealous rage.
Back in 1996, Curtisha Morning, a college-bound nursing student, high school senior and homecoming queen, mysteriously vanished. Five weeks later her tall slender body was found punctured with 96 stab wounds on school grounds.
