A small community is fighting against the building of a big drug store. Residents said they have nothing against national retail chains, but more is needed to turn around the struggling downtown of this Long Island community.
A Long Island man was arrested Monday for robbing the same CVS pharmacy twice in Deer Park.
CVS Pharmacy is the second largest drug store chain in the United States. So to hear about a major medication mix-up at its location in Chatham, N.J., has a lot of people who live in that area on edge.
According to police, 20-year-old Travis Smith and 83-year-old Georgia Reeve collided at 11:32 a.m. by the parking lot of a CVS pharmacy at at North Evergreen Drive.
Police say they arrested 22-year-old Patrick O’Donnell of Ronkonkoma on Thursday. He is accused of stealing oxycodone and about $200 from a CVS in Farmingville last Sunday afternoon.
