Most of the workers are members of the Communications Workers of America.
They carried American flags and chanted “What’s disgusting? Union busting” outside Lowell McAdam’s Mendham residence. Police say the protest was peaceful and without incident.
The strike does not involve employees of Verizon Wireless so it won’t affect service. The contract covers telephone and repair technicians, wireline customer service representatives and operators.
