Feds Announce Statue Of Liberty To Reopen In Time For July 4 Holiday

Visitors will once again be welcomed to the Statue of Liberty by July 4, 2013, following the completion of repairs needed after superstorm Sandy, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced.

Study: Young Professionals Flocking To Lower Manhattan

A new study has showed that young professionals have been drawn to Lower Manhattan like a magnet – in a very positive change after the area suffered from job losses following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Downtown Alliance Declares ‘Lower Manhattan Has Prevailed’ 10 Years After 9/11

In a report release Thursday, the Downtown Alliance says that the area is “thriving as never before.”
