An analysis in the December issue of the journal Pediatrics shows violence in films has more than doubled since 1950, gun violence in PG-13 films has more than tripled since 1985 and since 2009, PG-13-rated films have contained as much violence as R-rated films.
“When I said I don’t have any money, he put the gun more in my face and said, ‘If you don’t give it to me, I’ll kill you in front of these kids,’” the victim said.
The study in the Journal of Consumer Affairs links a difficult childhood, including divorce, to compulsive shopping later in life.

Warner Bros. spokesman Paul McGuire confirmed that the crew of the show would be paid for four episodes, but declined comment on Sheen’s claim he’s pursuing further reimbursements.
