A Long Island man was arrested Wednesday, on charges of running off from the scene of an accident that left a woman seriously injured last fall.
According to authorities, Commissioner Thomas Krumpter “was following too closely” when he rear-ended a vehicle that caused a three-car, chain-reaction accident.
